Pregnancy Yoga

A practice for the extraordinary journey of pregnancy, rooted in the Conscious Pregnancy teachings of the Kundalini Yoga tradition. A space to connect with yourself, your growing baby, and the creative, feminine power within you.

Through breath, movement, meditation and deep relaxation, the practice supports you in releasing tension, cultivating calm, joy and inner strength, and preparing for childbirth and the journey into motherhood. Leaving you with tools that you can use also beyond the mat. Each class follows the familiar Kundalini Yoga format, with even more space for delicious relaxation, slowing down and deep connection with your baby.

Suitable from 12 weeks of pregnancy onwards.

FAQ

What's the best time in pregnancy to start?

From 12 weeks onward for most women, though it can be earlier or later depending on your pregnancy. Please do not hesitate to reach out, and we can plan a free 15 min call to see if this class is a good fit for you. And remember, it is never too late to start, you're welcome right up until delivery ;-))

I have never done yoga at all. Is experience necessary?

Pregnancy is actually a wonderful time to start, since nothing here assumes prior experience and everything is adapted as you go. Both you and your baby benefit, and you'll be building a practice that can carry you well beyond these nine months.

Is this a birth preparation course, or similar to it?

It is not a substitute for one, and it is not medical care. What it does is build the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual foundation that birth preparation can then rest on. If you would like to go deeper into birth prep, keep an eye on my workshops and events page, or simply reach out, I would love to hear from you.

Can I still come after the baby is born?

Yes, absolutely. Women usually move into the Mother & Baby yoga class, and many book in-home postpartum support for the first weeks before that becomes possible.
