Mother & Baby Yoga
A class designed for both you and your baby as you find your way through the early months of life as a (new) mother and parent. Rooted in the Kundalini Yoga tradition, the practice combines gentle movement that both restores and rebuilds strength, breathwork, meditation and deep relaxation to support your postnatal recovery, soothe tension and help you feel more grounded and emotionally balanced.
Your baby is part of the practice too. They can be held, watched, fed, cuddled, explore or simply be themselves while you move and breathe. There is no expectation for them to be quiet or still! This is a space for real life, exactly as chaotic and glorious as it is. Babies are welcomed from 8 weeks to toddling.
Mantra, singing and sometimes simple massage are woven into the class as playful elements that the little ones often love.
Each class touches on the themes and challenges of early motherhood, with an opportunity afterwards to have some tea, share experiences and connect with others.

FAQ
Do I need any yoga experience?
No. This class is accessible for every body and every level, whether you've never done yoga or practised for years. You can join whenever you're ready, from 8 weeks after birth onward.
What if my baby cries, feeds, or needs a nappy change mid-class?
Feeding, changing, soothing, all of it can happen right there on the mat, or in the bathroom nearby if you prefer. Whatever works for you, and there is no need to excuse yourself for it.
My baby is very mobile now. Is that a problem?
No. Crawling, exploring, wandering toward another mumma or baby in the middle of an excercise, it's all part of the practice. Babies are welcome from 8 weeks to toddling, more or less until they can walk.
