Grief & Loss

  • In-home - 3,5 or 5 hours

This offering is a variation of the signature Nourish & Restore, adapted for times of grief and loss. I come to your home with nourishment, warmth, and practical care. This includes wholesome Ayurvedic-inspired food, light household support, and a chance to talk, cry, sit in silence, or simply be as you are. Depending on what you need, I can also offer medicinal plant guidance, herbal baths, rebozo, Abhyanga oil massage, relaxation, or gentle movement. All is optional - there is no need to make sense of what you are feeling or move through your grief in any particular way. Sometimes care is just having someone beside you, taking a few things off your hands, and making space for what cannot be fixed, only held.

Held on Zoom with full devotion and space for a deeper exploration of your situation and its ripples across all dimensions: physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual. We might sit in contemplation and sacred dialogue, or move into a kriya or meditation from the Kundalini Yoga tradition, chosen specifically for this work. I can guide you with ideas for ritual: shaping a ceremony, holding one with you, or both. You'll also receive reflective journalling prompts and lifestyle and self-care practices for the days after or between sessions. There is always an opportunity to have a 20-minute check-in call after the session and ongoing availability via WhatsApp, for one week or for as long as your package runs.

Everything is beautiful and I am so sad.

This is how the heart makes a duet of wonder and grief. The light spraying through the lace of the fern is as delicate as the fibers of memory forming their web around the knot in my throat. The breeze makes the birds move from branch to branch as this ache make me look for those I've lost in the next room, in the next song, in the laugh of the next stranger.

In the very center, under it all, what we have that no one can take away and all that we've lost face each other.

It is there that I'm adrift, feeling punctured by a holiness that exists inside everything.

I am so sad and everything is beautiful.
